MBTA Rail Bridge Replacements Design-Build

Role: art director, graphic designer, presentation designer, photographer
Client: VHB and Barletta Heavy Division

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) issued an RFP for a design-build contracting method, requesting firms to propose their approach for the replacement of six bridges along multiple commuter rail lines and include details on management approach, public engagement process, and innovation to reduce impacts to the traveling public. On behalf of contractor Barletta Heavy Division and lead designer VHB for this $100M pursuit, I created the design and layout of the qualifications, technical proposal, and interview presentation. I worked closely with marketing and technical staff to evolve text into compelling visuals that reinforced their distinct project approach. I played a critical role in the document’s print and production as well as quality control and assurance. For the interview presentation, I led the storyboarding, messaging, technology logistics, and graphics development.
